Sasquatch

This project was inspired by a true cryptid enthusiast who gave me complete freedom to create. I chose to bring Sasquatch to life as the main character, and paired him with a little companion, a miniature insect-like version of Mothman, alongside a flying magic mushroom that instantly grabs his attention. The whole piece came together over two consecutive days at the Kamloops Tattoo convention, blending mystery, playfulness, and imagination into one design.

Capricorn

This tattoo was created from three key elements my client gave me: their zodiac sign, Capricorn, their passion for cycling, and a nod to their little guilty pleasure with cannabis. From there, I built a concept that connects these parts of their personality into one design. The Capricorn brings a sense of identity and strength, the bicycle represents freedom and movement, and the cannabis buds add a playful, personal detail that makes the piece unique to them. By blending these symbols together, the tattoo becomes more than just individual elements, it tells their story in a way that feels alive on the skin.

brown trout

My client really wanted very specific colors that match a mature Brown Trout, along with a more curved shape in the lower jaw. The goal was to stay true to the natural look of an adult Brown Trout while keeping the color palette accurate

bee wild

My client only asked me for a bee. From there, I created a concept that connects directly to who he is. He works as a landscaper, so he understands better than anyone how important bees are, and how dangerous it can be to use pesticides just to sell the dream of a perfect green lawn. This tattoo is more than just an insect, it’s a reminder to protect these small but vital friends, and a reflection of his respect for nature.

horses

This design was created for a horseback riding instructor who wanted to immortalize her two beloved horses, Buster and Nelly. She asked me to capture their presence, and I gave the piece an artistic twist by adding splashes and brushstrokes of violet and turquoise, colors I personally enjoy working with. They bring a creative, dynamic energy to the tattoo, making the portrait not only a tribute but also a work of art with its own character.

red cardinal

My client asked me for three elements: dogwood flowers, a red cardinal, and a rosary. I built the piece with the cardinal as the main character, and I balanced it using the emerald green rosary, since its color complements the bird perfectly. For the flowers, because their tones in nature are more delicate, I placed them slightly in the background so they wouldn’t overpower the scene. The background it’s there to push the cardinal forward and make its color vibrate. The whole design flows naturally along the outside of the calf, bringing her ideas together in one living composition.

NLYB4L

This lettering was done freehand for all five characters, and my client and I decided it would be a great idea to give the number four a different angle and style so it stands out from the rest. I was lucky enough to have full creative freedom to choose the lettering style and improvise in my own way.

Rankback

This project, completed in 10 sessions, explores street art with graffiti on abandoned houses. It’s a custom backpiece where each design reflects my client’s life as a graffiti artist. A Vancouver train symbolizes his roots, Donald Duck adds a quirky touch, and the police appear alongside an apocalyptic UFO. A character rising to the sky ties it all together, leaving behind a chaotic planet, a metaphor for his envisioned legacy.

Amor in the Shadows

This full back piece was completed over 13 sessions, covering the entire back and the upper glutes. The goal was to create a smooth contrast and a flowing composition around the skeleton. My client’s only request was to keep the skeleton softer in mood, not too dark or sinister, while still giving it presence.

We added a candle in its hand to create that hypnotic, almost contemplative vibe. The piece also includes the word AMOR in Spanish, which ended up winning Best Lettering at the 2025 Calgary Convention. The lettering itself was done completely freehand.

Hakunamatata

This was a custom project for a client who asked for the “three wise monkeys,” but with a Lion King twist. Instead of the classic version, we reimagined the idea with Timon, Simba, and Pumbaa. The choice of characters was no accident: Timon doesn’t want to see Pumbaa’s nonsense, Simba looks tired of listening to the two of them, and Pumbaa… well, he definitely looks like he just let one slip. A playful reinterpretation of “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil,” done with a dose of humor and nostalgia.

asshole

This is a portrait I tattooed at the Calgary Tattoo Convention 2024, chosen by my client from one of my flash designs with a poker theme. I incorporated different elements into the portrait, and together we decided to add a small graffiti detail above the head as a personal touch to give it some extra punch.

darkness

This project came to life over three consecutive days, with the support of a friend of mine from Montreal. At its core is a haunting portrait of a woman marked by a demonic presence, paired with a four-eyed dragon that pushes the limits of imagination. And it wasn’t just about the imagery. It took real courage to sit through two tattooers working at the same time, three days in a row. The result is a dark, powerful piece created to both captivate and challenge.

Burning Heart

A custom black and grey piece built around a timeless symbol: a heart wrapped in barbed wire, carried by flame.

To elevate the design, a subtle chrome effect was introduced, adding contrast and a harder, almost metallic edge to the composition.

Classic foundation. Refined execution.

What’s Waiting

Inspired by the world of Super Mario Bros, this custom piece contrasts two iconic elements: the question block that invites curiosity, and the piranha plant that reacts without warning.

One promises something unknown.

The other reminds you there’s always a risk.

In life, you never really know what’s waiting for you.

3:33

Caught between urgency and temptation, the White Rabbit pauses.

3:33 flashes above him. Not a warning. Not a coincidence.

In that split second, he reaches for something small.

A piece of happiness. Simple. Almost innocent.

This piece explores time slipping, impulsive choices, and the comfort we find in things that aren’t always good for us. Inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, reimagined through a darker lens.

Even when you’re late…

you still stop.
